Mp3 Your Car

http://www.Mp3YourCar.com

This site reports to have a product that connects to your car’s CD changer controls to enable you to control your iPod using your CD dash controls or steering wheel controls for rewinding and skipping tracks. The cost is around $189 and seems to be a good alternative to those FM transmitters that don’t seem to work very well in large cities.

Here is a diagram of how it works.

NOTE: DIAGRAM MISSING…updated 03-18-06

This is what the website reports:

What it is
The Neo iON provides direct connection to most factory and aftermarket car stereos. When connected your car stereo buttons will control the iPod, the iPod battery will charge, and the sound will play from your car stereo speakers. This is the best iPod Car Kit available on the market.

Features
Compatible with iPod 3rd Generation, 4th Generation, and iPod Mini.
Works with most vehicles – plugs directly into the CD changer port.

The adapter includes a 11.5′ (3.5M) cable that plugs directly into your iPod. The other side of this cable plugs into the CD changer port on the back of your car stereo – there is no FM modulation.

Once the cable is plugged in your car will charge and power your iPod, as well as control it (Next/Previous track, FF/RW) using your car stereos existing buttons (steering wheel controls if you have them).

Every iON we sell is tested and working - any problems and you have a 30-day money back guarantee.
All units include a FULL one year warranty.

Please comment if you have this product. I would like to know if it works as reported. This seems like an excellent solution to the FM transmitter problems faced my many.

Many of you have probably seen a link like mine above, asking you to go to FreeiPods.com and sign up to receive a “free iPod/iPod Mini”…I have seen the link so many times that I wrote it off as a scam. After reading so many posts on boards and sites with people requesting info about this, I decided to do a little research of my own. I was surprised to find a video link to the G4Tech TV “ScreenSavers” website with a video file that uncovered all that I was looking for.

Here you all go and judge for yourself. If you want to sign up, please click on the title link above and use me as your referrer…PLEASE!!! I still can’t tell you if this is legit or not, but I guess we can find out together.
