 Gawker Stalker Website

Sometimes it seems that people get too worked up over mashups.  The newest news craze is Gawkers site “Gawker Stalker”  .  It appears that the news media is attempting to make this look like a site that actually tracks celebrities in real time.  The site posts sightings of celebrities that are NOT posted in real time. This doesn’t appear to be something that would help a “stalker” to find his/her favorite celebritiy.  As far as I know, celebrities don’t stay at the same location for days unless it is their home or hotel that is being reported on.  This is only a site that lets you know where celebrities are seen.  I don’t see this as a huge invasion on their privacy.

This site tracks celebs in New York city.  It would be cool to have a site to  list celebs sightings in LA.  Does anyone know how to code this?  We should get started on it.

Scarlett Johansson claims that she was being followed by Paparazzi when she crashed into a car in the Disneyland parking lot last week.

Access Hollywood’s article says:

Johansson, 20, paid the $10 fee to enter a lot at the amusement park when
she tried to get away from the vehicles and swerved, clipping the right side of
car carrying a woman and her two daughters, Pariseau said.

Johansson, who has starred in such movies as “Lost in Translation” and “The Island,” has left Los Angeles and hopes that state legislators will enact a law “to avoid these situations,” Pariseau said.

“She’s frustrated,” he said. “She can’t deal with it anymore.”

I curse the Paparazzi for chasing away young starlets from Hollywood!!!!!

Some people may think that George Clooney is sick in the head when it comes to his on-set practical jokes, but he really is.

Clooney suffers from a torn membrane surrounding his spinal cord. It causes him to get extreme headaches. At one point, he even had spinal fluid dripping from his nose. After “Ocean’s Eleven”, Clooney elected to have plastic pins implanted to secure his spine in place.

Who knew that he had it so rough?
