Torrents are a great way to save a web publisher on bandwidth costs, so whenever possible and legal, you should at least attempt to find a torrent file to download.
One of the most interesting and “creepy” sites on the net today is called Post Secret. The webmaster of the site encourages people to sumbmit a secret written on a customized postcard. It is an interesting site that has an amazing amount of traffic. The last time I checked, the site had over 6 million hits.
