Can you Digg it?

July 16th, 2005

Digg's Official Website

Kevin Rose and the gang have released Digg 2.0.

What is Digg?

Digg is a technology news website that combines social
bookmarking,
blogging, RSS, and non-hierarchical editorial
control. With digg, users submit stories for review,
but rather than allowing an editor to decide which stories
go on the homepage, the users do.

You can always trust a product from Kevin Rose, so I wasn’t surprised to find that this is a quality site.

If you are interested in listening to the Diggnation podcast, you can check out the Diggnation site here.

Another great social bookmarking tool is the one that I use on this site. You can find Furl here.

Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas Porn

July 16th, 2005

Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas never claimed to be suitable for kids, so it should have been so surprise that porn-play segments have been found hiding(possibly) in the code of the game.

Hillary Clinton is now seeking the FTC to launch an inquiry of voluntary video game rating system. The goverment gets involved in our radio, TV, and now our video games…what a shame. The game already has a mature rating, so just back off and worry about something that matters.

HBO’s Entourage

HBO's Entourage

One of my favorite shows of the summer season is HBO’s Entourage. The show follows a young Hollywood star and his “Entourage” of buddies from his hometown of Queens, New York.

I want you to see it for yourself, so catch the second season Sunday nights at 10 PM on HBO. Kevin Dillon and Jeremy Piven will have you laughing out loud.

HBO has just released the season one DVD, so I have placed a link to Amazon.com below.

Hot Dog Maniac!!!

July 4th, 2005

27 year old, Takeru Kobayashi from Nagano Japan has done it again for the fifth straight year, not the Wimbledon Tennis Championship but the incredible Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog eating contest. He ate an unbelievable 47 hot dogs in 12 minutes and just 6.5 hot dogs shy of his record. This guy is only 5′7″ and only weighs 144 lbs. By eating 47 hot dogs in that short of a time, I can only imagine how long it must take for him to get ride of it from his bowels, maybe a record time of 12 hours. Some people have great talent in sports, some have great talent in music, fortunately, Kobayshi’s talent is eating hot dogs. All I can say is “What an Animal!!!”
